A gift for each paw

Yes, it's a rag. Surprised? One day I'll find the person who hoards all their dirty rags and I'll give them a coupon to the Container Store.

No, I did not pose the glove this way. It, or Simon, decided to give me the finger all on it's own.

He just couldn't get enough rag this night.

An orange peel in a bag. The little guy decided to shake it up a bit. What's interesting is that I was told citrus peel is a natural feline deterrent, and that people often use them in their gardens to keep out neighboring cats. Right. It works real good.

Perhaps the orange peel was old enough AND in a bag that it wasn't a deterrent? We used to use orange peels to keep our orange cat from urinating in a spot in the corner. They needed to be refreshed about once a week.

Come by the cat blogosphere to say hello to all ht

"For a guy, Simon seems to be 'on the rag' an awful lot.
I guess he's just in touch with his fem side.
cats, whatever."

Simon - you are hilarious! Did you really bring in ALL these things we saw on your blog??? Out where Karl lives - Tucson, Arizona - that kind of behavior is usually left to the packrats, hahahahahahaha!!!
Come by and see us cruising Antarctica! Welcome to the Cat Blogosphere, Cheysuli told us about you.

Hi, Simon. I heard about you from Cheysuli. This is a really fun blog. I wonder what the deal is with rags? Do they smell really interesting?

Hello Simon, thief extrodinaire! We saw this over at the Cat Blogosphere and, well, after going thru the archives we must say that we are very impressed. Hey, every cat needs a hobby! Oh, and Sadie the Flirt says that you are a very handsome mancat...

ha ha ha it sounds to me like Simon has a bit of evil alter ego in him too. ha ha ha

I agree with Chey, the orange peel may not have been fresh enough. Mommy used that scent as a deterrent to keep me off stuff when they first rescued me.

Simon, you are the CAT!
Bringing all that cool stuff home to your people must mean that you really love them a lot. Do you get lots of treats for all your efforts?

Oh, and its really nice to meet you!

Hi, Simon and beans. We heard about you on the Cat Blogosphere, and thought we'd drop by and say hi.

You get enough good stuff to justify having a "Return Day" every so often? Like, the first Saturday of the month you display Simon's stash so anyone missing something valuable can some by and check for it?

If nothing else, it would be a good way to get well known in the neighborhood. Whether you would WANT to be known that way, you and your beans would have to decide. :-)
